More about the HUMANABLETM Movement.
Together we can preserve human creativity in music.
Lots of musicians have already joined the Humanable Movement, all of whom are fighting for human creativity and communicating that their music is made only by humans, for humans. More are joining us every day, you should too.
What’s next?
With your help, we have a chance to save human-created music and preserve its appreciation. Our goal is to have a Humanable toggle installed on major platforms so consumers know they are listening to human-created music.
How does it work?
We're so glad you asked. After you create an account, verify your identity, which only takes minutes, then we can get on to the fun part! Now, you can sign up for a Humanable membership!
Once you're in our user portal, you'll start certifying your music! You'll tell us a little about each piece of art you're uploading and verify through agreeing to our terms of service that the music was created without Generative AI.
Once you've completed that step, that piece of art will be Humanable certified, and our system will issue you a license to use our Humanable trademark for your record cover or promotional material. The mark will let fans know that your music is human-created, not robot music. Then, you will officially be a HumanableTM artist! (Yay!)
FAQs
We're purists. As long as a piece was written by a human being, the vocals are human and the instrumentalists are humans, it is eligible for certification. Learn more in our terms and conditions.
If the song was written by a human without Generative AI help, it is still eligible for certification, and certification is recommended since a cover is still a new piece of art. Humanable certifies humanity, not originality.
Great! As long as it was written by a human, it is eligible. Humanable certifies parts of songs, full songs, uncut songs, demos and fully cut, recorded songs, as long as they are fully human.
Certifying your music with Humanable is a great way to establish credibility at the beginning of your career. If you're a Humanable member, you can pitch yourself as a Humanable artist and provide your Humanable song numbers, so everyone, including labels and publishers, know that they’re not taking a risk that your art is robot art and will complicate their licensing and royalty business models.
